I've been looking at a book called Force. It contains some interesting insights on figure drawing. 2,5,20, and 40 minute figs from this week.

3d project: Skeleton

After 12+ hours slaving over anatomy books, internet ref,masking tape, and wire, I finally completed my skeleton.

At Ringling!

Alrighty, I made it to Ringling and finished the first week. Now after a long hiatus its time to get to work. I met some really cool people here, had little sketch group sessions,saw a pregnant person get punched, and am about to start making a skeleton out of wire.

Its been a while since I did a Self Portrait.

My portraits look different every time. Took about 3 hours. Time to start packing...summers near done.

The end of summer is drawing near! Only a couple of more weeks left till Ringling. Some selected work from this week.

Samurai Character

Man,I learned a lotta stuff from doing this. I keep having a problem with low contrast,color and other stuff. I was also introduced to some principles of character design. Whew, time for more studies.
